Citrix switches on recruitment mode
Vendor keen to continue growing its sales, IT operations and online service divisions as it hunts for talented new team members
Cloud and virtualisation specialist Citrix is set to boost its headcount by 50 as it strengthens its technical support, sales and IT operations across EMEA.
The new staff will join the firm's Dublin workforce, and will be the latest batch of newcomers since it recruited 50 new heads back in 2011. Its recruitment drive is being supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.
Job types include: corporate sales reps, escalation engineers, sales enablement, technical relationship managers and tech support engineers.
Richard Bruton, minister for jobs, enterprise and innovation, said: "ICT is a key sector targeted in the government’s plans for jobs and growth, and we have seen a substantial increase in employment in this area in the past two years. The announcement that Citrix is creating a further 50 jobs in Dublin is very welcome and provides a further indication of what is possible in this sector. I am determined to help sustain and accelerate the progress we have made in this area to help create the jobs we need."
Martin Kelly, vice president of worldwide infrastructure and operations at Citrix, said: "One of the key ingredients for ongoing success and growth is the availability of the right skills and talent.
"These job openings exist now, we are hiring immediately and want to hear from talented sales and technology professionals. Customers are embracing cloud services and mobile work styles to create agile, cost-effective, new ways of working.
"As such, all divisions of Citrix continue to experience significant growth across Europe."
