Chess gets into lead generation game
Telecoms provider arm of acquisitive VAR teams up with specialist agency to offer reseller partners co-funded campaigns
Chess Wholesale has linked arms with specialist lead generation agency Fluent Communication to tempt resellers with co-funded campaigns.
The firm is the wholesale arm of acquisitive voice and data VAR Chess Telecom.
VARs that are looking to grow their account with Chess, or prospective resellers that want to work with Chess, will be able to apply for 50 per cent funding on a lead gen campaign, subject to volume of business placed and commitments agreed.
Barney Phillips, wholesale channel director at Chess, said: “I have been to see the set-up at Fluent and I was impressed with what they can do. Several of our resellers are in the process of working with Fluent and we are delighted to be able to support them by covering part of the cost of their campaign. After all, the new business they sign is placed with us, so everyone is a winner.”
Jonathan Edgeley, chief executive of Fluent Communication, said: "We are solely focused in the IT and telecoms market, with our team of business development managers well versed in the technology and positioning of the products and services, which puts Fluent in a strong position to deliver well-qualified appointments and leads.
“I am extremely excited about the partnership with Chess and look forward to working with forwarding-thinking resellers.”
