m-hance gets super-sized in the US
Fast-growing mid-market VAR opens new, larger Boston headquarters as demand for its homegrown software solutions increases
VAR m-hance has cut the ribbon on its new US HQ as it continues to pursue ambitious global growth plans.
The firm's new Boston office will enable it to grow its own partner base as it develops its own IP software solutions which combine cloud, mobile and social applications to extend the functionality of back-office management and CRM offerings.
Over the past three years to FY 2012 end, the firm has achieved compounded annual growth of 89 per cent.
Mark Thompson, chief executive of m-hance, said: "As our US footprint continues to grow, we are delighted to open a new, larger dedicated local office, which demonstrates our commitment to increasing our presence in North America.
"The US represents a significant opportunity for us to leverage our own innovative IP solutions which are attracting massive interest, both direct and through our growing network of international partners, where our through-channel approach is proving very successful.”
To spearhead its growing US market, the firm has appointed Paul Crompton as vice president of sales for North America, and m-hance operations manager Helen Samworth will join him to engage with the firm's reseller base to drive its initiatives.
Thompson added: “We are investing well above industry standard rates in developing tailored products that layer over our core solution offerings. These solutions leverage the latest cloud, mobile and social technologies and offer our customers, and our partners’ customers, increased value for money and functionality from their initial software development to gain further efficiency savings.
“To fulfil the surge in interest for our solutions in the US we are very pleased to welcome Paul [Crompton] to m-hance. Paul’s extensive experience in the IT channel, combined with his strong sales acumen, will enable us to better engage our key channel partners to develop and support mutual opportunities.”
