Director Graham Reeve departs Danwood after 26 years

Long-serving exec bids farewell to print services VAR

After more than a quarter of a century senior Danwood executive Graham Reeve is to depart the business.

Reeve (pictured), who has most recently served as strategy and regional business director following a management overhaul last year, has been with the company since 1986 and was first appointed as a director five years after that. Danwood indicated that when Reeve joined, the company's turnover was just £7m, a figure that has now risen to more than £200m.

Chief executive Steve Francis thanked Reeve for his stellar services and claimed he was leaving a company well placed for future growth.

"Graham has made an outstanding contribution to Danwood over many years and has been pivotal to it becoming a market leader. His strategic and leadership qualities have been invaluable," said Francis.

"We respect the fact he wishes to take the opportunity to move on but he does so at a time when Danwood is well placed to maximise exciting opportunities for growth built on its new IT offerings and managed document services proposition. Graham has supported and mentored many of the new management team and has timed his departure well so as to ensure the smoothest handover. We wish him well for the next chapter of his future."
