Arrow launches new cloud service provider tool
Distributor's latest online module allows MSPs to simulate and predict total cost of operating a particular cloud service for customers
Arrow Electronics has taken the wraps off its latest cloud services offering, the ArrowSphere xSP Central.
According to the distributor, a key component of the online module enables the MSP community to forecast and report on various service provider licence agreements in one central platform.
A second module, ArrowSphere xSP Central, allows managed service providers and traditional IT resellers that would like to become an MSP, to build cloud services more efficiently.
The module - which also helps predict the total cost of operating a particular cloud service for end customers - is a complementary module to the ArrowSphere cloud services aggregation and brokerage platform launched last year.
The module underwent a successful pilot scheme trial with selected MSPs and software vendors, but is now available in all countries where Arrow has enterprise computing solutions operations.
Laurent Sadoun, president of the EMEA region and worldwide services for Arrow, said: "We see ArrowSphere Store increasingly becoming the preferred choice for the channel to buy and resell cloud services. ArrowSphere xSP Central now allows existing and future MSPs to better design the specific technology stack they will use to provide their cloud services. It also offers software vendors the ability to recruit, enable and manage the MSP community.
"In less than 12 months, we have taken our ArrowSphere initiative from launch to revenue, and we will continue to invest in cloud solutions, services and dedicated resources on a global basis. We are building with ArrowSphere and its integrated modules an integrated resources management platform for all types of cloud services providers."
