GFI Software eyes up wave of new cloud VARs
Vendor pins hopes of growth on intensive recruitment and education scheme
GFI Software wants to add more than 100 VARs to its UK cloud partner base as it launches a new channel programme.
The channel expansion programme will run from now until November, and each month will focus on engaging existing and prospective partners with a different aspect of its cloud product, such as anti-virus, network and server monitoring, mobile and web and content filtering.
The firm hopes the short-term programme will better equip VARs with the knowledge and resources needed to sell their cloud products, as well as help them grow sales and engage with new customers with its offering.
The programme will be supported with a widespread partner marketing push, in an effort to rapidly boost its cloud partner numbers.
Scott Hagenus, channel director at GFI, said: "Our new cloud partner programme will deliver a three-figure increase in cloud resellers and will provide both current and new reseller partners with tools, incentives and support to help them drive cloud sales and integrate GFI's cloud solutions alongside their existing physical product lines.
"Cloud solutions are an important opportunity for the channel that generate both healthy upfront revenues and recurring business."
