Juniper launches services scheme for partners

Networking vendor adds to channel programme unveiled last year with duo of badges

Juniper Networks is hoping to give its top partners a leg-up in the services space with the launch of new services programmes and specialisations.

The Juniper Partner Advantage Services programme was launched today and includes two new certifications for the vendor's top-level Elite partners: Partner Support Services (PSS); and Partner Professional Services (PPS).

The PSS badge covers lower-end support services and includes a troubleshooting certification for reseller staff covering routing, switching and security technologies. Holders of the PSS specialisation will also enjoy exclusive use of the vendor's advanced support engineers. A rewards structure tailored for individual markets will also be part of the programme.

The PPS certification is designed to help partners build and promote their higher-end services capabilities. The badge will centre on arming VARs "with domain and technology expertise".

The creation of the new services track follows the launch of Juniper's global Partner Advantage Programme channel scheme last year.

Emilio Umeoka, senior vice president, worldwide Partners at Juniper, said: "Juniper Partner Advantage Services amplifies our investment in partners and services by providing unique tools and opportunities that will help drive growth, increase profitability and reward partners that deliver a truly remarkable customer experience."
