Phoenix shows its mettle on HP tin

Services player awarded infrastructure partner status by vendor giant

Services specialist Phoenix has demonstrated its hardware credentials by gaining certification on HP's range of datacentre hardware.

The break-fix player has been accredited as a Converged Infrastructure Partner by the vendor, having demonstrated its expertise with HP's servers, storage and networking, as well as related software and services. The badge aims to allow partners to build private cloud offerings for customers.

Stuart Dickinson, procurement and vendor director at Phoenix, said: "The relationship with HP is one of the cornerstones of our business, so being named as a partner for its Converged Systems programme is incredibly pleasing and a testament to our expertise in the server, storage and networking space."

Paul Mclean, enterprise group UK channel manager at HP, added: "We are delighted to announce that Phoenix has been awarded HP Converged Infrastructure Partner Status, in recognition of its strong capabilities in delivering HP's enterprise portfolio. As an HP Converged Infrastructure Partner, customers can be confident that Phoenix continues to be one of our key strategic partners."
