Northern Irish £3m PC contract up for grabs
Northern Irish department of Finance and Personnel on the lookout for desktops, laptops and tablets
A PC contract worth more than £3m is up for grabs at the Department of Finance and Personnel (DFP) in Northern Ireland.
The Northern Irish government department is looking for a supplier to provide 2,930 standard laptops, 510 lightweight laptops, 360 presentation laptops, 180 tablet PCs and 180 high-spec laptops as well as additional items as part of the deal.
The DFP PC contract is set to last one year but includes options to extend the deal for two further 12-month periods.
The provider will mainly be expected to supply the kit in Northern Ireland, but on occasion will have to deliver and install equipment in government offices in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Europe and the US.
The contract will be judged wholly on price, and the deadline falls on 28 October at 3pm.
