Short-staffed security VAR Integrity on hiring spree

Anglo-Irish outfit puts out urgent call for 15 staff to help it fulfil recent contract wins

Anglo-Irish security VAR Integrity Solutions is on a hiring blitz to ensure it has sufficient manpower to cope with an influx of managed service contracts.

The Check Point, F5 and Websense partner has open headcount for 15 staff, at least seven of which will be based in the UK.

England country manager Mark Evans said the VAR urgently requires experienced security professionals following a string of recent managed service victories with banks, utilities and e-commerce firms.

"We need to be able to hit the ground running as these contracts go live," he said.

"We are looking for multi-skilled IT security consultants with accreditations across numerous vendors, including F5, Check Point, Riverbed and RSA. We also need two analysts with in-depth knowledge of the anatomy of an attack."

Integrity plans to open a secure operations centre (SOC) in the UK, adding to its SOC in Dublin, meaning most of the new hires could potentially be on this side of the Irish Sea.

New recruits would be joining a VAR that is growing rapidly and brimming with career progression opportunities both in the UK and abroad, Evans said. For instance, Integrity is planning to open a Florida office next year that will serve customers in both the US and Caribbean.

"As a combined organisation we can now play at the highest level," Evans said, adding that the privately held firm has £3m of cash in the bank.

"We are up to 65 to 70 staff in the UK and Ireland. In the UK we are now a serious player and see ourselves competing with the likes of Nebulas, SecureData and NTS."

Despite launching back in 2005, Dublin-based Integrity only set up shop in the UK in earnest last April.
