GTDC welcomes Westcon CEO as vice chairman

Global Technology Distribution Council appoints Dean Douglas to the board

Westcon president and chief executive Dean Douglas has joined the board of the GTDC as the organisation looks to the next stage of its development.

The GTDC also appointed Esprinet chief executive Alessandro Cattani as a new executive committee member.

Tim Curran, chief executive of the GTDC, said: "Westcon and Esprinet have been respected member companies of the GTDC for some time now, and we value the relationship we have developed with them over the years.

“As we continue our mission to help our members and vendors strengthen their partnerships and address industry-wide issues and opportunities, we are excited about Alessandro joining the executive committee and Dean’s new role as vice chairman.”
