Synology hopes for Beta channel reach with new distie
Storage vendor signs up with Beta Distribution
Storage vendor Synology has signed up Beta Distribution in a bid to reach more resellers and customers with its products.
The vendor, which specialises in network attached storage (NAS) products, already works with Ingram Micro, CMS Distribution, EET Europarts and VIP Computers and claims the Beta partnership will help it expand into new market areas.
It says Beta's specialisation in business-to-business models will see it expand into that market even further, and said it picked the firm based on what it claims is its excellent service reputation including next-day nationwide delivery.
Mike Chen, Synology's UK managing director, said he was pleased about the new partnership: "We are excited to work with Beta Distribution. Together, we can further deliver the Synology brand and products into the channel. We are privileged to be partners with them."
Beta business manager Ben Jackson was equally enthusiastic about the news and said: "We have established ourselves as a source for technology products and the addition of Synology to our portfolio further enhances that reputation.
"From Synology's point of view we will be putting their products and brand name in front of a new audience and making their product more accessible than it has ever been."
