Acer has handed Swedish boss Marco Andresen the reins of the UK operations after incumbent Neil Marshall scored a promotion.
Andresen (pictured) is relocating to the UK after bagging the UK general manager role. He is currently country manager of Acer Sweden and also serves as marketing director for the Nordic region.
Marshall, who has been promoted to the role of regional manager for North Europe effective January 2014, said his successor has a "solid reputation" for building successful teams and forging ties with partners.
"We are really confident that he will be successful in applying his experience and commercial acumen in his new role in the UK," Marshall said.
Swedish national Andresen, who has previously worked for HP and IBM, added: "The UK is a critically important market for us and one of the most competitive.
"I look forward to relocating to the UK to embark on the next chapter of my career at Acer and to also continue the change management programme that Neil and the local management team have put in place over the past two years."
The duo will co-act in their current and new roles from 1 November to help ensure a smooth transition.
