Jobs at risk at Calyx - sources
CRN understands technical staff have been asked to reapply for their jobs
The jobs of some technical staff at integrator Calyx have been put "at risk", CRN understands.
The firm could not be contacted at the time of publication, but according to sources close to the firm, this week saw some staff told their jobs were not safe.
It is not clear exactly how many people are affected, but one source said around 20 technical staff had been told their jobs were at risk, and that they had to reapply for their roles from a much smaller pool of jobs.
CRN understands the move will affect those working in project management and professional services as well as technical architects.
Calyx, which is backed by private equity house Better Capital, decided 10 months ago to reignite its hardware resale business as it watered down its strategy to embrace managed services. The VAR has gone through several management changes of late, most recently bringing in a new sales director, Terry Williamson.
It is understood that Calyx employs between 160 and 170 staff.
