Fujitsu crowned winners of Channel's Got Talent

Vendor to donate prize money to housing charity Shelter after its version of the Rolling Stones' Sympathy for the Devil swept the board

Fujitsu UK has been crowned the winner of CRN's Channel's Got Talent competition after taking two thirds of the vote.

The vendor's band, which included Fujitsu executive director Michael Keegan, covered the Rolling Stones' Sympathy for the Devil and managed to rack up 292 votes - 66 per cent of all votes cast. You can see the company's winning entry below.

Housing charity Shelter will be the beneficiary of the £250 charitable donation prize.

Fujitsu was closely rivalled by a Comstor entry which showed account manager Alice Nelson sing an aria from Georges Bizet's opera Carmen, accompanied by the distributor's Jonathan Phillips. The duo's entry gained 90 votes - 20 per cent of the vote - and came just ahead of another Comstor entry in which Cisco product manager Tom Saunders performed Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars.

In fourth place was Postcode Anywhere's account manager Neil Majhu who broke a brick with his foot in his martial arts entry.

Voting took place on CRN's Facebook page and took the form of "the most ‘likes' wins". All entries are still available to view but new ‘likes' will no longer count.

Star of Fujitsu's entry Michael Keegan said winning the competition was a proud moment for his company.

"Rock and roll is in my blood - so to get the opportunity to come together with colleagues and celebrate that was brilliant," he said. "But most importantly, we've won a cash sum to donate to our charity partner Shelter which will go towards their fantastic work in putting an end to the housing crisis in the UK. Fujitsu winning Channel's Got Talent has to be one of our proudest achievements."
