Samsung cuts ribbon of Teddington support centre
Joint effort aims to raise customer service and support across the South-East
Samsung Electronics UK is opening a mobile support centre in collaboration with local business The Repair Station in Teddington, Middlesex.
The aim, according to the vendor, is to give customers in the region a chance to get face-to-face support and advice on their Samsung mobile products.
Brian Ford, service director of Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland, said this is its first mobile support centre in the South-East.
"We look to grow our nationwide network of support services and give our customers the very best user experience. We hope that this new face-to-face facility will provide unparalleled support," Ford said.
Glen Coleman, managing director of The Repair Station, said the company is "excited and proud" about the opportunity.
"This is recognition of our hard work and determination to provide the highest levels of customer service possible," he said.
Coleman added that the new-look store and walk-in service centre, open from 15 November, would give the local firm a platform to develop its services further.
"In collaboration with Samsung we intend to roll out more stores," he said.
Customers will be able to update their products with the latest software and resolve any suspected technical issues at the new centre. A premium one-hour repair service will also be on offer.
