ASM to distribute Druva data protection to VARs

UK and European channel expansion launched last week kicks off

Distributor ASM Technologies has signed up to provide Druva data protection software to its stable of VARs, SIs and other resellers in the UK.

Steve McChesney, vice president of business development at Druva, said the proliferation of mobile devices, BYOD and related security and accountability issues meant greater opportunities for its offerings.

"In order to accelerate our success we have sought to establish relationships with some of the most strategic partners in the IT channel. ASM's strong relationships with the leading players and unique approach to channel development were critical in our decision to partner," he said.

ASM works with resellers through a consolidated, single-supplier interface and contract, the company said in a statement.
