Time to tell vendors what you really think
CRN's 2014 Vendor Report survey is now launched, but we need your help to make it bigger and better than last year
If you are frustrated with the way your vendors are behaving, or indeed want to praise them for their wonderful handling of channel partners, now is your chance.
CRN is launching its Vendor Report for 2014, and this will provide the perfect opportunity to get any grievances off your chest.
All feedback is 100 per cent anonymous, allowing respondents to be brutally frank and honest without any fear of repercussions.
As we did last year, we will be asking you to rank your vendors in five main areas: produce quality, account management, accreditation and training, after sales and technical support, rebates and margin retention; plus two further variables: demand generation and funding, and channel leadership.
The vendors will then get ranked in order, and for the first time we can compare certain vendors’ performance against their rankings last year. See how vendors ranked last year here.
It is important that we get as many surveys completed as possible so we can make the report bigger and better than ever.
We understand that filling in surveys is a hassle, but there are not many that will have such a direct influence on the way you are treated by your vendor partners. The Vendor Report will.
We are also asking vendors to encourage their partners to fill this survey out – only then will they get a true picture of how they are really performing in the UK channel.
