Adept4 nabs K3 Solutions chief
Martin Perry takes managing director role to fulfil firm's ambitious growth
Fast-growing IT services player adept4 has appointed Martin Perry (pictured) as its new managing director to spearhead its aggressive expansion plans.
This year the firm has already doubled its staff to 50, and acquired K10 solutions for a six-figure sum in May, adding an Aberdeen office to its existing premises in London and Daresbury in Cheshire.
Perry, who joins the firm from a role as managing director of K3 Solutions, boasts more than 25 years' experience in the software and technology delivery business. His role will include implementing process reviews and an operational restructure as the firm pushes for growth.
Adept4's existing executive team, led by chief executive Peter Birkett, CTO infrastructure Paul Talbot, and CTO software Steve Cosgrove, will remain in place.
In a statement, Perry said: "I’m delighted to be joining adept4, they’re an ambitious, focused team and are experiencing significant growth. I firmly believe that customer engagement should be the number one priority – which is an ethos which chimes with that of the adept4 directors.
"I’m looking forward to working with the adept4 team to deliver the necessary infrastructure to ensure that future growth is delivered sustainably.”
Birkett added: “Martin’s extensive industry experience and expertise will help to condition and prepare the business for future growth and help us to expand without compromising on efficiency, capability or quality of service. His focus on great customer service and delivery is a perfect match for adept4’s philosophy and he’s also well versed in improving and scaling up businesses to meet their longer-term ambitions.”
