Nine UK resellers first with Canon MPS badge
Vendor's fledgling MPS certification attracts range of partners
Canon has launched its first Europe managed-print accreditation, and nine UK partners are the first to sign up for the programme.
According to a statement from the vendor, Systems Technology, Vision, Azzurri, Condor Office Solutions, DMC Business Machines, Apogee, Alternative, M2 and IT@Spectrum have all received the new badge.
Ireland's Bryan S Ryan has also achieved the certification.
Matt Searle, partner channel director at Canon, said he was delighted with the response to the initiative.
"Our partners here are really looking to take on a more consultative role with their customers," he said. "Managed print services (MPS) is a great way for partners to grow their business and to help their customers control costs and boost employee productivity."
Searle (pictured, right) said that paper and manual processes are frequently used to bridge a gap between incompatible systems.
"MPS addresses the wider business issues and represents an excellent opportunity for partners," he said.
Canon's new MPS accreditation is being managed by imaging researcher and consultancy Photizo Group, and partners are being assessed on their service delivery and people, their infrastructure and technology and their business model as well as the customer experience.
