Fujitsu donates Channel's Got Talent winnings to Shelter
Vendor donates £250 winnings from CRN's competition to Shelter's emergency Christmas Appeal
Kind-hearted vendor Fujitsu has donated its £250 Channel's Got Talent winnings to worthy charity Shelter.
As Christmas draws nearer it is right that everyone takes time out to think about those less fortunate than themselves, particularly children.
And according to homeless charity Shelter's figures a whopping 80,000 children in the UK are facing a Christmas with no home. It is currently running an emergency appeal to raise as much money for families in crisis as possible. To find out more and make a much needed donation, visit the charity's website.
Fujitsu's executive director Michael Keegan is pictured handing over the cheque to Sam Davies, head of corporate at Shelter. (Picture L-R - Sam Davies, Michael Keegan, Sara Yirrell, editor of CRN, and Anna Fletcher, account manager at Shelter).
In a statement, Keegan said: "Rock and roll is in my blood - so to get the opportunity to come together with colleagues and celebrate that was brilliant.
"But most importantly, we won £250 which I was proud to present on behalf of Fujitsu to our charity partner Shelter which will go towards their fantastic work in putting an end to the housing crisis in the UK."
CRN's Channel's Got Talent competition ran over the summer and the winner was voted on the basis of who received the most likes on our Facebook page.
