Tatham takes over MD role at Westcoast
In raft of management changes, Duncan Forsyth becomes Westcoast Group managing director and Alex Tatham takes the UK and Ireland hotseat
Alex Tatham has been promoted to managing director of Westcoast UK and Ireland as the distributor undergoes a management reshuffle.
It has been a busy start of the year for the Theale-based firm, whose parent group Westcoast Holdings completed a merger between XMA and Viglen, and also snapped up print consumables specialist QC Supplies.
Former managing director Duncan Forsyth has been promoted to managing director of the wider Westcoast Group.
In other moves, Neil Baker has been propelled to director of Westcoast's Supplies business, Paul Hamilton has become director of Client business and Paul Harman becomes director of Westcoast's Solutions business.
Channel veteran Gary Cove steps into the sales director role vacated by Tatham.
Speaking to CRN, Tatham (pictured) said: "This has been more evolutionary rather than revolutionary as I have been at Westcoast for five years. My first aim is to make sure we continue the strong performance we have enjoyed over the past year and execute all the exciting plans we have put in place.
"It has been a great year for Westcoast and I'm looking forward to the business going from strength to strength."
