Onyx polishes business partner programme

Datacentre and cloud specialist unveils revamped programme to attract new partners

Onyx Group has overhauled its partner programme as it looks to grow its business and pull in new clients.

The firm, which specialises in datacentres, cloud backup, cloud hosting and connectivity, already boasts a successful partnership programme which accounts for over 25 per cent of its £20m turnover, but the revamped offering boasts enhanced discount rates, access to marketing campaigns, staff sales training and pre-and-post-sales support.

It is also split into three distinct programmes aimed at resellers, referral partners and companies wishing to create their own white-labelled product.

John Toal (pictured), sales and marketing director at Onyx, said: “With our five wholly owned datacentres, network ranked in the top one per cent worldwide, and a resilient cloud platform, we have the infrastructure in place to guarantee our partners 100 per cent availability and confidence in the products they are selling.

“By using our infrastructure and services, businesses can benefit from a cost-effective and low risk approach to entering on the of the fastest growing sectors in the IT industry.”

To further strengthen their programme, the firm has appointed James Carver as commercial director who has held roles at EMC and Northamber in the past.

Carver said: “We want our partners to grow alongside Onyx Group and adapt to changing environments as we do. Onyx can help complete the perfect solution for companies with a real desire to both satisfy the needs of their current customer base and excel in winning new business.”
