Datacentre Distribution rocks up in Harrogate
Gamma-owned firm eyes the £10m sales barrier
Datacentre Distribution has cut the ribbon on a new office in Harrogate as it eyes up the £10m sales barrier.
The Gamma-owned firm - which is headquartered in Manchester - was launched last November and focuses on selling datacentre products to its reseller base. It hopes the new branch in the Harrogate Evans Business Centre will help propel its sales past £10m by 2016.
Over the next year, the firm will launch a demonstration suite specifically designed to train up its VARs and get them testing out the kit.
The Harrogate office will also be home to a dedicated operations team which will offer local resellers sales advice and support.
Datacentre Distribution has already brought in a new datacentre infrastructure sales specialist to beef up the team, and hopes to add further staff in the future too, according to its sales director Andy Kelly.
"We are expecting to triple Datacentre Distribution's revenue to £10m by 2016 as well as growing personnel and sales staff numbers along the way," he said. "We are also keeping our eyes open for complementary vendors to fit within our Datacentre focused portfolio."
