Advanced shows its Caring side

Mobility specialist seals five-year contract with Care UK to supply mobile airtime to 4,000 staff

Mobile specialist Advanced Mobile Communications has bagged a five-year contract with Care UK to supply mobile airtime to its 4,000 employees via EE's 4G network.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, includes managing every aspect of Care UK's mobile fleet, including assets and bills.

It is estimated that the deal will save Care UK significant amounts over the duration of the contract.

Chris Griffin, director of Advanced Mobile Communications, which is part of the ACS Group, said: "We are very pleased to be working in partnership with EE to bring high-quality connectivity to Care UK's teams at very competitive rates.

"We understand workforce mobilisation and we are a natural partner for forward-thinking organisations such as Care UK."

James Greenman, group IT director at Care UK, added: "Advanced's team understands the commercial characteristics of the health and social care sector and we are pleased to be working with them to deliver improved mobile access to our colleagues.

"Although we spoke to various suppliers, we were particularly impressed with Advanced's expertise.

"They were able to illustrate clearly the cost benefits and savings of their proposition and we were reassured by the knowledge that the team from Advanced are leading experts in the commercial mobile marketplace."
