Citrix demotes three top-level partners
Esteem, Intercept and Point to Point understood to have been stripped of Platinum status
Virtualisation giant Citrix has ditched three of its top-level Platinum partners amid a channel programme shake-up, CRN understands.
Resellers Esteem, Intercept IT and Point to Point are thought to have been demoted as part of the recent rejig.
According to Citrix's partner locator, only five firms – Computacenter, SCC, Kelway, Centralis and Ultima Business Solutions – are now accredited as being a top-level Platinum partner.
CRN understands that Esteem, Intercept and Point to Point all held the accreditation before the recent reorganisation.
Esteem still displays the Platinum badge on its website, and Intercept's Citrix information page claims the London VAR was awarded Platinum status back in 2010.
All three companies, none of which was available for comment as we went to press, now hold Gold partner status. Citrix was also unavailable to comment.
