TIG sticks to cloudy growth path

Ambitious managed services provider set for global expansion and strengthens partnership with datacentre specialist as cloud business flies higher

TIG is eyeing global expansion as it commits to further growth of its cloud and connectivity business.

The rapidly growing firm, which was the subject of a management buyout in January 2013 by four channel veterans, has also deepened its partnership with datacentre specialist Interxion.

Last year, the firm’s TICCloud infrastructure-as-a-service platform bagged the VMWare vCloud Powered badge, the highest-level VMware accreditation for multi-tenant cloud.

Des Lekerman, chief executive of TIG, said: "Interxion's flexible and like-minded approach to doing business is refreshing. We have been working jointly on large -scale hosted deployments for companies such as Virgin and Frontier Economics, and BaaS deployments for clients such as Monarch Airlines and DAP Insurance Services."

Jelle Frank van der Zwet, global marketing manager at Interxion, added: "This further reinforces the success of Interxion's community approach and is testament to the value our customers gain from our cloud and connectivity hubs.

“TIG's expert knowledge of cloud and Interxion's highly connected datacentres are a winning combination and offer our enterprise community even greater choice when moving to the cloud."
