InTechnology grabs seven-figure G-Cloud deal
Managed services specialist beats competition to provide enhanced IT infrastructure to health organisation
InTechnology has sealed a deal with NHS partner the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) to supply an enhanced IT infrastructure.
The seven-figure contract was won through the government’s G-Cloud framework, with InTechnology standing out as one of just a few managed service providers to offer an N3 connection service.
According to InTechnology, the HSCIC will benefit from significant cost savings, 24/7/365 support and high levels of datacentre and network resilience, as well as adhering to strict government guidelines.
Mark Halpin, new business sales manager at InTechnology, is confident the win is the first of many.
“To have secured one of the largest G-Cloud framework contracts to date and be working with the HSCIC on one of the most ambitious cloud projects is fantastic news for the business,” he said.
“Our numerous accreditations and proven capability within the healthcare sector is why I believe we are perfectly placed to deliver a contract of this size, offering the HSCIC one of the most flexible, scalable and dynamic IT services available.
“We hope this win, coupled with our position on the G-Cloud framework, will continue to pave the way for future contract success among the UK’s biggest health and public sector bodies.”
