Radware yanks in former F5 man to run UK

Adrian Crawley handed UK and Ireland reins of application delivery vendor

Radware aims to replicate the success it claims to have enjoyed in the US on this side of the pond after enlisting former F5 Networks director Adrian Crawley to run its UK business.

The application delivery and security vendor has appointed Crawley (pictured) to the post of regional director for the UK and Ireland. He previously held the roles of enterprise director and director for channels and service providers at rival F5.

Radware's EMEA vice president Yoav Gazelle claimed the application delivery and security market is a "lucrative" opportunity for UK partners.

"The ADC market is continuing to grow steadily at seven per cent year over year, while the DDoS mitigation market promises an even more exciting opportunity with over 25 per cent growth predicted in 2014," he said.

"We are confident that Adrian's appointment will help Radware and our channel partners to take full advantage of these opportunities."

Crawley added: "Radware has experienced accelerated growth in the US market in the past 18 months. In particular, our security portfolio has been a key contributor to that success.

"This is an exciting time to join Radware and I hope to utilise my knowledge of the local market to replicate that same success for Radware and its partners in the UK and Ireland."
