Xerox hands more marketing help to channel partners
Online tools, training and marketing material expanded with view to SMB market
Printer brand Xerox has ramped up the marketing assistance it provides for partners online and as part of its global channel programme.
Douraid Zaghouani, president of channel partner operations at Xerox, said it had reviewed the US and Europe programme benefits and increased the available benefits by about a third, with an eye to the SMB document management market in particular.
"We made enhancements that resulted in an immediate uplift to the entire ecosystem, while still serving the unique needs of each channel. Our mission is to help partners expand their profitable revenue by connecting Xerox technology and services to their unique solutions so they can help their customers simplify everyday business processes," he said.
The vendor said it is also boosting the marketing material available through its global channel programme sixfold, offering additional templates, automation for email campaigns, and a tablet app for accessing presentations, videos, photos, data sheets and brochures on iOS or Android.
Also, product migration tools, proposal generators, and virtual demos would be supplemented with showroom and pre-sales assistance.
Another set of tools, training and marketing material has been dubbed the Personalised Application Builder. The aim, according to Xerox, is to assist resellers to create their own "personalised" offerings for customers. It includes workflow software and developer kits as well as an extensible interface platform.
