Jabra pinches Azlan marketing exec

Dawn McMorrow follows former Azlan boss Nigel Dunn to Jabra

Jabra has appointed Dawn McMorrow as its marketing manager for the UK and Ireland after she jumped ship from Azlan.

McMorrow started work at the headset vendor today after leaving Azlan where she was its Cisco marketing manager for the last two years. Across Europe, Jabra's marketing team consists of around 20 staff, three of which are based in the UK.

Jabra boss Nigel Dunn - who left Azlan for the telecoms vendor himself last November - said McMurrow's appointment will fill a big hole in its local marketing team.

"Clearly her background is really important to us on the channel marketing side," he said. "She has got strong SMB knowledge and her background with Cisco is important too - it's one of our most important partnerships this year, not to decry [those] with our other partners."

Dunn insisted he had no further plans to recruit from his former employer and added: "[Hiring] Dawn made perfect sense - we had an opening and her skills are very good."
