Entatech says Oki in first printer deal

Distributor moves into print hardware with an eye to B2B expansion

Entatech UK has signed a distribution agreement with printer maker Oki, with a view to advancing sales to the enterprise.

Jon Atherton, director of Enta, said Oki's name was "synonymous with quality and innovation" - making it a good fit for enterprise customers.

"This year, we have really focused on building our B2B portfolio which not only enables us to further increase our breadth and product offering but helps our customers," Atherton (pictured, right) said.

Simon Tetlow, head of channel at Oki, said the vendor had been "reviewing" its routes to market and the changes to the dynamics of the channel.

"Entatech does not have any other print vendors on board and this provides a perfect opportunity to help broaden our reseller channel, which is one of our key objectives for 2014," Tetlow said.

Enta has introduced a number of B2B-focused products and vendors over the past few months.
