Distributor unveils application acceleration vendor as latest ally

Distributor channelfusion is aiming to enlist an elite band of storage and compute resellers to take on new vendor signing Condusiv's application acceleration software.

Condusiv's V-locity I/O reduction and caching software technology is designed to boost application performance in virtual, physical and cloud environments based on Microsoft Windows Server platforms.

"V-locity offers a different approach for channel partners looking to help their customers enhance their compute and storage architecture," said channelfusion director Bruce Hockin (pictured).

"By optimising at the application level first, they can compete and win against larger, traditional vendors whose only solution is expensive, rip-and-replace storage upgrades."

Partners can also profit from V-locity's embedded performance benchmark tool, which provides a detailed report on I/O from various workloads while offering a before/after performance comparison, Hockin added.

Founded a year ago, channelfusion carries solutions straddling the realms of big data, virtualisation, enterprise database and cloud. Its other vendors include Cleversafe and Emulex.
