VIP throws its weight behind boxing star Gill

Jordan 'The Thrill' Gill backed by distie and vendor Razer until the end of 2015

VIP Computers has secured ringside seats to the rising career of boxing star Jordan "The Thrill" Gill after agreeing to sponsor him until the end of next year along with vendor partner Razer.

Gill, aged 19, is claimed to be one of the world's youngest professional boxers and has won all his first nine fights since leaving the amateur ranks.

He will be sponsored by distie VIP and Razer – a gaming device vendor which also makes fitness-based wearable tech – until the end of next year, and will appear as the face of the duo's combined promotions over the period.

VIP's director Rich Marsden said the pair's cash and Razer's fitness kit will keep Gill's training schedule on track.

"Jordan is now at the stage in his career where he is working towards becoming a champion boxer, he said. "Our new range of wearable tech lifestyle products will without doubt help him on his journey. Over the forthcoming weeks and months, Jordan will front a host of knockout deals from VIP!"
