Oki rolls out single European partner programme

New Shinrai programme to replace series of independent local initiatives

Printer maker Oki Europe is launching a single channel partner programme across EMEA, as it looks to strengthen its partner relationships throughout the region.

Terry Kawashima, managing director of Oki Europe, said the new regional programme "underlines [its] total commitment to the channel".

"We sell 100 per cent indirectly through a distribution network. Until now we have supported this with a series of independent local initiatives," Kawashima said in a statement.

Tiers in the new programme, dubbed Shinrai – which is Japanese for "trust" – include Executive Partner, Premium Partner, Business Partner, and specialist e-Commerce and BPO Partners, the vendor said in its announcement. Sales will be built through "common targeted" marketing programmes and support.

Premium Partners, Executive Partners and E-commerce Partners will be issued with a formal certificate and partner programme contract.
