Printware sales star gets keys to new car
Elite Kyocera channel competition offered new Mini as prize
Printware senior account manager Nicky Djenki has won a new car in a Kyocera Elite channel programme competition.
Djenki (pictured with her new Mini) said the news of her win hadn't quite yet sunk in.
"At first I didn't quite realise it was me who had won, as my heart was racing so much when the key I had in my hand unlocked the door of the brand new Mini," she said.
According to Kyocera, the programme targeted 680 sales, marketing and customer services staff at its channel partners, offering rewards for them to improve their knowledge of the company's products and services.
After three months, five frontrunners were invited to a track day at Silverstone, where they could drive an Aston Martin and a Ferrari around the racetrack. During the day, Djenki was announced as the winner and got the keys to the £15,000 main prize.
Elaine Hewitt, head of IT channel at Kyocera UK, offered congratulations to Djenki.
"We're very much looking forward to extending the programme next quarter when we expect even more of our partners' staff to participate," Hewitt said.
Q2 will see Elite programme staff from Dabs, Ebuyer and Insight join in. Current programme participants include staff from Ingram Micro, Midwich, Misco, Printerbase, Printerland, Printware, and QC Supplies.
