Technical and commercial audio specialist moves into new role

Audiovisual distributor Midwich has appointed Polar Audio's Jon Dew-Stanley as its new director of solution sales.

According to a statement from Midwich, Dew-Stanley has technical design as well as commercial experience that will be useful in his new role.

"I'll be assisting our client partners to design and deploy innovative technical audiovisual solutions," Dew-Stanley (pictured) said.

Dew-Stanley was at Polar Audio for 13 years, where he was sales director and technical director. "Midwich is a company I know well from my time in the industry," he said.

During the same time frame he also worked as technical sales and technical director at manufacturer Beyerdynamic. Previously, he has held roles at Harris Corporation and The Audio Connection – and been a radio presenter, according to LinkedIn.
