Channelfusion and Maxta team up for storage success

Software-defined storage vendor eyes UK channel partners

Storage distie channelfusion has signed a deal with storage vendor Maxta as the firm eyes UK channel growth.

Maxta, which was founded in 2009 and is based in California, specialises in software-defined, VM-centric storage products designed to enable the convergence of applications, server virtualisation and storage on standard servers.

Channelfusion claims the deal - which will see Maxta join the likes of Condusiv and Emulex in its vendor line-up - will enable its reseller partners to build the next generation of VM-centric storage solutions.

Bruce Hockin (pictured), who founded channelfusion just over a year ago, said Maxta technology will open up lucrative markets for resellers.

"Unifying compute and storage technology will enable channel partners to open up previously unrealisable benefits for their customers within the enterprise mid-market," he said. "Maxta is the stand-out leader in this rapidly growing technology space."
