Channelfusion teams up with Infinidat
Storage duo eyes growth-hungry VARs
Storage newcomer Infinidat has signed up with specialist distie channelfusion as it looks to make its mark on the UK channel.
The vendor already has a US presence, but is hoping to sign up a number of resellers in the UK to boost its sales. It claims its storage technology – which competes with high-end storage arrays offered by EMC, HP and IBM – removes the price vs performance dilemma customers face.
Infinidat joins recently signed vendor Maxta on channelfusion's vendor line-up as well as the likes of Condusiv and Emulex.
The distie was chosen because of its customer focus, Infinidat said.
"We based our decision to join forces with channelfusion on their remarkably professional team combined with a passionate attitude toward our vision and their customers," said Adi Gelvan, worldwide vice president of sales at Infinidat.
The firm claims its price points are significantly lower than those offered by its rivals and said the value it offers often "raises eyebrows".
Channelfusion founder Bruce Hockin agreed and said:
"In the enterprise, Infinidat enables our partners to create an affordable proposition that cannot be achieved with any other vendor in the market.
"Partners will be supported with sales and technical enablement, and an investment in marketing activity to open the doors to new and profitable business."
