Law firm's IT gets the Quiss of life

East Anglia-based firm Ashton KCJ selects MSP Quiss Technology after competitive tender process

Quiss Technology has won a £1.2m five-year deal to provide managed IT services to law firm Ashton KCJ after a tough three-way tender battle.

Under the deal, the MSP will host a dedicated infrastructure at its Tamworth-based datacentre, with replication back to one of Ashton’s sites, to help with the firm’s business continuity provision.

Nick Hayne, professional services manager at Quiss, said: “It is immensely gratifying to understand the service we are offering is one that law firms of the stature of Ashton KCJ find attractive.

“I believe the fact we recently became the UK’s first IT services provider to be ISO 27001:2013 certified was an important factor in our success. It stands testament to our commitment to ensuring data remains secure and confidential at all times; major considerations for any law firm seeking the ideal, privately owned, UK-based hosting partner.”

Tabatha Forbes, CIO at Ashton KCJ, added: “We are delighted to have awarded this contract to Quiss following our robust procurement exercise. We have found them to be professional, knowledgeable and flexible from the outset. This has been a big decision for the firm and I have every confidence in Quiss’ ability to meet our needs, and hopefully exceed them too.”
