Arrow embeds itself in SimpliVity's channel plans

Firms announce a pan-EMEA agreement to help grow vendor's market share in the region

SimpliVity has signed Arrow Electronics to its distribution stable as it looks to build its presence across EMEA.

The deal will see Arrow supply the hyperconverged infrastructure vendor’s OmniCube platform to its reseller customers across the region.

According to SimpliVity, the platform consolidates up to a dozen infrastructure functions into a single unified stack, helping customers make up to three times the amount of TCO savings.

Jesper Trolle, vice president of sales for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions segment in EMEA, said: “We are pleased to sign this distribution agreement with SimpliVity to offer our Pan-EMEA resellers a revolutionary solution for transforming today’s datacentre.

SimpliVity has a reputation as a leader in the hyperconverged market, and we’re thrilled to bring to market this radically simplified approach to the data centre.”

Mitch Breen, senior vice president of global sales at SimpliVity, added: “Arrow has tremendous reach and market penetration as an international distributor and we are excited to expand our footprint in Pan-EMEA with their support.

“Together, we believe we can deliver offerings that address the performance and capacity challenges in today's virtualised data centres, ensuring performance, capacity, mobility, manageability and protection of data without driving up Capex and Opex.”

The agreement follows the recent launch of SimpliVity’s PartnerAdvantage channel strategy as it looks to build up its partner numbers across the globe.
