Westcoast celebrates 30-year milestone
Distributor unveils new logo as it contemplates future strategy
Westcoast is set to celebrate 30 years in business this year and has undergone a corporate refresh to ready itself for the next 30 years.
The Theale-based distributor was founded by chairman Joe Hemani in a garage in Reading, but has grown over the three decades to a billion-pound business employing over 1,200 staff.
It has celebrated numerous industry awards over the years, and Hemani himself has been named Entrepreneur of the Year for London and South by Ernst and Young and is set to compete in the national finals of the competition.
To celebrate its birthday, the distributor has refreshed its corporate identity, selecting a 'blue water' based theme.
Alex Tatham, managing director of Westcoast, explained: “We are so proud to have reached 30 successful years in the business and we continue to grow stronger every year. We have changed our look to reflect our core values – passionate, flexible, entrepreneurial and personal. Water is life-giving and that’s what we do – we bring to life every part of our customers’ businesses. That’s what we’ve been doing for 30 years.”
As part of its celebrations, the distributor is offering nine pairs of tickets to Las Vegas under its ‘Hidden Treasures’ incentives strategy – which rewards VARs for using Westcoast’s tools and services. The incentive will run until the end of the year.
