NTT Com Security sheds senior director trio

Neil Lillywhite, Tom Salkield and Fredrik Hörnell all leaving security integrator amid restructure

Three senior executives, including UK boss Neal Lillywhite, are leaving NTT Com Security as the security integrator restructures its UK business.

Senior vice president of northern Europe Lillywhite is exiting the firm alongside professional services director Tom Salkield and Fredrik Hörnell, who is vice president of global partner and vendor alliances.

CVs of NTT Com Security sales staff are known to be flying around the channel but chief executive Simon Church said "at this point" the restructuring was limited to the senior management team.

While Hörnell has been made redundant, both Salkield and Lillywhite have left to "pursue other opportunities", Church told CRN.

"We are tuning our organisation to better fit the market opportunity. At this point in time, three senior people have left the business," Church said.

NTT Com Security – formerly Integralis – has open headcount for another 15 UK consultants, Church added, opening up the possibility that the firm is cutting headcount in some areas of its business while adding muscle elsewhere.

Lillywhite (pictured) and Salkield are listed as the two most high-ranking executives for NTT Com Security's UK business, which generated £83m of the Germany-headquartered firm's £227m revenue last year. Lillywhite joined Integralis in 2007 as UK sales director, while Salkield came on board in 2012.

Although Integralis came from a product resale background, management have worked hard to refocus the business towards services in recent years, with the UK now generating half of its revenue from professional and managed services.

However, that transition has been no cakewalk, with NTT Com Security falling back into heavy losses in its most-recent fiscal year, which it put down to the services investment.
