Arrow ECS expands Aruba Networks deal to UK

Entire portfolio to be available to British resellers via Arrow

Arrow is broadening its Aruba offering to the UK, expanding the current EMEA distribution agreement to include supply all its products to British resellers.

Stephane Duplaix, EMEA sales director at Arrow ECS, said mobile device use within the enterprise is likely to go on increasing, and Aruba's WLAN, remote working, wired access, outdoor mesh, access management, network management, cloud Wi-Fi and mobile apps should prove popular.

"This extended agreement will enhance the services we provide to our UK VARs and enable them to capitalise on growing market opportunities in enterprise mobility," Duplaix said.

Arrow will supply "deeper" support for current resellers as well as on-boarding for VARs entering new markets, according to an Arrow statement.

Wolfram Fischer, EMEA vice president at Aruba Networks, said the UK exhibits strong demand around mobility and security IT.

"This relationship will allow us to deliver increased value to a large community of VARs by helping position them as trusted advisers on mobility challenges of customers across all industry sectors," Fischer said.

Arrow's security and mobility partner ecosystem also includes the likes of Check Point, F5 Networks, RSA and Symantec.

The Aruba agreement now covers Benelux, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

The distributor is headquartered in Colorado, USA, with a European headquarters in Paris.
