ANS snaps up £2m NHS deal

Manchester-based firm to supply trusts along the south coast

ANS Group has won a five-year deal worth £2.1m to supply two NHS trusts along the south coast of England.

The Manchester-based firm is set to replace the IT networks at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in an effort to reduce their costs and improve the efficiency of their IT systems.

The reseller claims its managed infrastructure service will allow the trusts to scale in line with their future growth as well as give them increased flexibility.

ANS' managing director for managed services Paul Shannon said the deal is one of many the company is winning in the healthcare space.

"NHS trusts recognise that ANS provides high-quality services that can take them to the next level when it comes to their IT systems," he said.

"The service will provide both organisations with increased flexibility and resilience, ensuring that their IT systems suit both their current and future needs."
