Insight EMEA launches new services business unit
Former Cisco man Rolf Adam appointed to lead new services team across EMEA
Insight EMEA has announced it is expanding its portfolio to include IT advice on cloud and associated IT services.
Insight has created a new services business unit in EMEA, which will be headed by Rolf Adam (pictured) who has spent five years leading a sales team at Cisco.
Wolfgang Ebermann, EMEA president at Insight, said: "Many decision makers today, particularly those in the corporate client segment, are seeking partners who can provide strategic advice on future IT investments as well as delivering and managing this.
"This is why we are establishing a new services business unit, having attracted a senior leader with sound expertise in services and establishing strategic alliances with vendors and partners across EMEA."
Celine Bremaud, vice president of Microsoft corporate and partner group in EMEA, said: "Partnering with Insight on expanding its offerings around cloud and services to allow businesses to run their IT more cost-efficiently and focus on delivering business impact through new IT Innovation will be of mutual benefit and best serve our joint clients."
Earlier this year Insight teamed up with Colt on a cloud platform that will be available to EMEA networking, cloud and datacentre customers.
