UTAX channels sales growth to bolster recruitment
Printing and copier vendor to add numbers to its team as part of its Reinvestment for Growth plan
UTAX has announced a recruitment drive following a 19.3 per cent increase in partner sales to £11.6m for last year.
UTAX, a printing and copier provider founded in 1989, announced earlier this year that it enjoyed double-digit growth for a fourth consecutive year, and the new appointments come as part of its Reinvestment for Growth programme.
Shaun Wilkinson (pictured right), managing director of UTAX, said: "Our principal aim has been to expand our support team and to further develop and produce solutions that meet the needs of our growing portfolio of partners and their customers."
The recruitment drive at UTAX includes the appointment of two new area managers to the northern regional sales team, as well as bolstering its professional service managers and taking on an additional workshop technician.
"If UTAX is to continue its growth, we have to continue to provide the best support of any company within the industry to our partners - and we can only do that by employing the best," Wilkinson said.
The news of the expansion to the team comes just after its partnership with distributor Northamber was announced.
