Imerja 10th birthday sees big profits present
Annual profits up 43 per cent on the previous year for healthcare reseller
Bolton-headquartered Imerja has reported a year-on-year profits surge of 43 per cent on flattish revenue in its current financial year.
While Imerja – which has just turned 10 – is a relatively small company with revenue now tipping £6.3m and 50 staff across three offices, its focus on multi-year support and managed services has been the driver for increased sales in an increasingly competitive public sector market.
Ian Jackson (pictured, right), managing director and co-founder of Imerja, said its revenue rose again this year as well, with services such as cloud video targeting healthcare opportunities adding to the bottom line.
"Looking at our renewals and new business pipeline I'm confident we'll be celebrating another strong year in 2015," he said. "Longstanding customer relationships we have developed across the public sector, with a broad portfolio of household names in retail and other sectors, have enabled us to build an enviable client base."
Imerja could not provide specific revenue or profit figures at the time of writing.
The company will continue to seek creative ways to apply infrastructure, security and communications technology to assist customers, Jackson said.
"Video-as-a-service we hope will continue to make the company more profitable, and it is also important to us to help improve people's lives as well as deliver efficiency savings into our overburdened health service," he added.
