Memset dives into managed services

Cloud firm aims to clock up more government and enterprise customers with new division

Memset has launched a new managed services division in a move it hopes will attract a flurry of new customers.

The cloud firm's Memset Managed Services (MMS) unit was a "natural progression" for the firm, it said, due to demand from customers for more bespoke services.

The new division will deliver an "all-inclusive" offering to customers, including hosting as well as migration, application management, monitoring, database administration and telephone service desks.

Memset's managing director Kate Craig-Wood said the offering will help her firm provide more customer value.

"Memset provides one of the most capable and mature cloud platforms in the market today, and with the increasing number of customers looking for bespoke IT solutions and more expertise in association to our hosting services, our managed cloud offering will help to address these needs," she said.
