Annodata snaps up IT infrastructure provider Keltec

Annodata claims the acquisition pushes its annual revenue to more than £78m

Annodata has today announced its acquisition of IT infrastructure provider Keltec.

The deal is the first expansion move by Annodata since its appointment of Martin St Quinton as chairman, who has previously led numerous acquisitions at Azzurri.

Annodata, which is a provider of communications, managed print and data services, claims the acquisition will push its annual revenue to more than £78m with 380 employees.

The firms have not yet revealed how much the acquisition was worth.

Andrew Harman, Annodata's managing director, said: "Today's acquisition is the first example of our new growth plans in the UK.

"The mass adoption across all industries of IT-as-a-service is leading to wholesale transformation in the technology sector and Annodata has always moved in step with its customers."

Keltec, which has annual revenues in the region of £15m and is partnered with the likes of VMware and HP, will enhance Annodata's hosting capabilities and consolidate its move into cloud, according to an Annodata statement.

The trading entities of both companies will be maintained and Keltec will become wholly owned by Annodata, according to a statement.
